To help you find a clinician who is right for you, NAMS has assembled this search feature of physicians and other healthcare professionals who wish to provide health care for women through perimenopause and beyond. This is not a complete compilation, but includes those NAMS members and others who have asked to be included on the list.
- NAMS does not necessarily endorse or recommend any of these healthcare professionals.
- The clinicians in this search feature include several types of healthcare professionals. View a list of professional credentials and their meaning.
- Clinicians with the credential of NCMP (NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner) have demonstrated special competency in the field of menopause. Learn more about this credential.
- Not all NCMPs are available to see patients or accept new patients.
- Some NCMPs may also display a Web site address. Although NAMS permits these links, being linked does not imply that NAMS subscribes to all the content within the sites. In particular, NAMS does not endorse any specific product or service.
This search feature is made possible by the generous support of Duramed Pharmaceuticals. Please note that the grantor has no control over its content.

How to Search the Clinician Database
To search for a healthcare professional in your area, enter either a US Zip Code, State/Province, or Country, then click on the “Search” button. To identify a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner, look for the NCMP credential.
If this search does not include someone in your area, contact a local physician—such as a gynecologist, internist, or family practice doctor—and ask what percentage of their practice is devoted to menopause. When you locate someone with a large menopause practice, perhaps schedule an initial appointment to ask questions and determine if you would be comfortable with the provider and the practice.
