Leading the Conversation:
The Menopause Society Show

We hope you will enjoy this first episode of The Menopause Society Show and encourage your colleagues and patients to watch along as well.
The content of the first 20-minute episode is based on The Society’s Practice Pearl, “Pharmacologic Options for the Treatment of Overweight and Obesity” by Dr. Daniela Hurtado.
For those who attended The Society’s Annual Meeting, you got a sneak peek of the first episode. This new initiative will consist of quarterly webinars designed to address common yet challenging clinical issues that healthcare professionals face in their care of women during the menopause transition and beyond and provide guidelines for management.
The series, spearheaded by Dr. Monica Christmas, associate medical director of The Society, and Dr. Sara Looby, board member, aims to increase access to evidence-based information by offering an engaging and interactive format. Episodes will feature experts in menopause and midlife health providing clinical insight into the latest research-backed information about complex menopause-related issues. The diagnosis and management of complicated menopause cases, including hormone and nonhormone therapies, lifestyle interventions, and emerging treatments, will be discussed.
Dr. Looby will serve as host of the first episode. Future episodes will address topics of sexual dysfunction and breast cancer, to name a few.
Stay tuned for details on Episode 2.
